Muhammad Al-Maliki—The Fruits of knowledge is Action!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Ameerul Mumineen Umar Ibnul Khattaab (radiyallaahu-anhu) said:

”People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah’s Apostle but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good.” [Saheeh Bukhaari: Vol 3; Hadith Number: 2641]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: ”Whoever manifests good, it will be accepted from him and a good suspicion is held about him. In a lecture of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali (may Allaah preserve him); he challenged the hizbiyyoon to prove their adherence to the Books of the Salaf and not merely based on what they claim.  He also challenged those people of bidah whose bidah is related to affairs of creed and those whose bidah is related to affairs of politics—saying that between us (Salafis) and you are the Books of the Salaf to judge between us.  Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) used to say: ”Between us (Ahlus Sunnah) and you (ahlul bidah) are the funerals” (i.e. the funerals of the Scholars and Imaams of Sunnah were attended by thousands and the funerals of the heads and scholars of bidah were attended by very few people).  So this was a sign by way of which the Imaams and Scholars of the Sunnah were distinguished from the leaders and scholars of bidah and misguidance.

So we say to the hizbiyyoon: Between us and you are the Books of the Salaf! The Books of the Salaf are still present.  Allaah (The Most High) commanded the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam), saying: [قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةِ فَٱتۡلُوهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِينَ] ‘’Say (O Muhammad): So bring the Torah and recite it, if you are truthful;” so they brought the Torah and it belied.

Likewise, we bring the Books of the Salaf to these people; we bring the Qur’aan and the Sunnah to them; we bring Saheeh Bukhaari, Saheeh Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Sunan Tirmidhee, Sunan Nasaa’ee, the Books of Imaam Ahmad and other than him from the Salaf—and then we will find out those who are upon the path of the Salaf and those in opposition to them!  Just as Allaah (The Most High) challenged the Jews to present the Torah, so they presented it and it opposed what they were upon; likewise we challenge the people of hizbiyyah to present the Books of the Salaf in order to expose the innovators amongst us and them!

We call to the methodology of the Salaf—to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger.  We utilize them as proofs in our creed; in our acts of worship; in our stances; in our relationship with the rulers and the ruled and in our relationship with the groups and sects.  As for others, they play games and tricks.  By Allaah! Reader: Pay attention to the following words: ”We utilize them (i.e. the Books of the Salaf) as proofs in our creed; in our acts of worship; in our stances; in our relationship with the rulers and the ruled and in our relationship with the groups and sects.” This is a challenge to every hizbi, diluter of the Manhaj of the Salaf, politician and trickster.

So we remind Muhammad Al-Maliki:  Last year you argued that the Books of the Salaf (i.e. Aqeedah Tahaawiyah etc) taught by yourself in those Centres/Masaajid –(i.e. those Centres/Masaajid allied with the people of bidah such as Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi, Abu Usama)– are not Books of Hizbis!

Firstly, we say to Muhammad: This statement of yours is truth by way of which you desire to justify your false alliances with the followers of Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi, and the allies of Abu Usaama.  Safar (the well known hizbi-takfeeri-qutbi-siyaasi-khaariji) has an explanation of Tahaawiyyah; so does this make his methodology sound?! Indeed, anyone acquainted with Safar’s destructive methodology knows that his views–especially the affairs related to our relationship with the rulers, Khurooj, takfeer and his false alliances with some of the innovators, political groups etc—are in opposition to what is contained in Aqeedah Tahaawiyyah.  So just because someone allows you to teach this book in their Centre/Masjid is not proof that he is upon a sound methodology.

Secondly, we say to Muhammad: Those Centres/Masaajid you visit, defend and recommend (i.e. Masjid As-Sunnah, Brixton, Luton, and Masjid Al-Furqaan) are well known followers of Al-Maghraawi (the Takfeeri), Al-Maribi (the ikhwaani) and Al-Halabi (the one carrying the flag of the mu’mayyi-een), or the least is that some of them co-operate with Abu Usaama Khaleefah about whom Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi said: ”your position regarding him is the same as your position regarding the people of innovation. Turn away from him and abandon him.”

These people of bidah (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi) have opposed affairs in the usool of the Religion; so the scholars and their foremost students (may Allaah reward them) gave the Jarh Mufassar against them.  The Salafiyyoon did not rush to declare them (i.e. Maribi, Maghraawi. Halabi, Abu Usaamah etc) to be people of bidah; rather they were declared people of bidah by those scholars who are well-acquainted with their misguided principles and stances.  However, you (Muhammad Al-Maliki) come along and extend a helping hand to those who openly defend these people of bidah; rather you attack those who refute them and speak with speculation, transgression and lies.

Finally: It is really amazing that you have added Sharhus Sunnah of Imaam Barbahaari to your list of books taught at some of these hizbi Centres/Masaajid! Every Salafi acquainted with this book will affirm the fact that it contains narrations against ahlul bidah and those who deliberately ally with them.  You turn away from the clear verdicts and detailed knowledge based criticisms of the scholars against the Mubtadia (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi), yet you have the audacity to attack the Salafis and defend the shelterers of these people of bidah.  So between us and you O Muhammad is Sharhus Sunnah of Imaam Barbahaari—it affirms our stance towards the innovators (Al-Halabi, Al-Maribi and Al-Maghraawi) and their followers, and it belies your disgraceful, deceitful and fraudulent stances. 

We do not say that you are an innovator because this verdict is for the scholars; but what is established without a doubt is that you are upon falsehood in your stances towards the innovators (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi) and their followers.  The only weak arguments available to people upon stances similar to yours are those of Dr Ibraaheem Ruhayli and others upon his way.  Indeed, if you are truthful to what you teach, then come out in the open and agree with the detailed-irrefutable knowledge based criticisms of the scholars against Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi and Al-Maghraawi.

However, your continuous co-operation with the followers and shelterers of these people (i.e. Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi, Al-Maribi, Abu Usaama) will not escape criticism; rather we warn against every trickster, fraudulent claimant and diluter of the sound manhaj positions.  Bilaal Philips, Abu Muslimah, Yasir Qadhi, Shadeed Muhammad, Greenlane’s Admin, and others have not escaped criticism and you will not be spared by the Will of Allah—unless you stop confounding truth with falsehood with regards to the affair of the innovators (Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi, Al-Maghraawi) and their followers.
