Back To Basics- [The Statement of Pure Islamic Monotheism- Laa Ilaaha Ilal laa]
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Allaah [The Most High] said in Surah Taha Ayah 14 to His Noble Prophet Moosaa [alayhis salaam]:
[إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِڪۡرِىٓ – Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance].
Few Reminders from the Ayah
[إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ – Verily! I am Allah! None has the right to be worshipped but I)]; meaning: Allaah is the Only One worthy of being worshipped because He is the only One that possesses Perfect Names and Attributes – [Free from all imperfections, shortcomings, faults]- and the One singled out in His Actions [i.e. He is the Creator, The One Who controls all the affairs of the universe; life, death, the day and night etc are in His absolute dominion]. Neither does He have any partner nor is anyone like Him; neither is anyone comparable or co-equal to Him.
[فَٱعۡبُدۡنِى – so worship Me]; meaning: Worship Allaah alone with all types of worship – with deeds performed by the limbs and the heart, and with the fundamental and subsidiary acts of worship [which I (Allah) legislated in the religion)]. Then Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِڪۡرِىٓ – and perform As-Salat for My Remembrance]. Allaah mentioned Salah in particular because of its virtue and high station, for it is an act of worship [in which the one who performs it correctly] submits his heart, tongue and other limbs completely in obedience to Allaah.
