Back To Basics- [The Statement of Pure Islamic Monotheism – Laa Ilaaha Ilal Laah]
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Allaah [The Most High] said in Surah Ad-Dukhaan Aayaat 1-16:
By the manifest Book (this Qur’an) that makes things clear;
We sent it (this Qur’an) down on a blessed night [(i.e. night of Qadr, Surah No: 97) in the month of Ramadan,, the 9th month of the Islamic calendar]. Verily, We are ever warning [mankind that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship].
Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments .
Amran (i.e. a Command or this Qur’an or the Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messengers),
(As) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
[رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ -The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them]; meaning: Its Creator, the One Who runs its affairs in perfect order and looks after its affairs how He wills. [إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ – if you (but) have a faith with certainty]; meaning: if you know that with certainty, then you should know that the Creator of all the creation is the true deity and that is why He [The Most High] said: [لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ – none has the right to be worshipped but He]; [يُحۡىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ – It is He Who gives life and causes death]; meaning: He alone is the One Who controls life and death. He will gather you all after death – recompense you with good if you worked righteous in the worldly life or recompense you with evil if you worked evil in the worldly life. [ۖ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآٮِٕكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِين – your Lord and the Lord of your fore-fathers]; meaning: He is the Lord of the first and last of mankind – nurtures them all with His blessings and prevents harm from them. [Ref 1]
Nay! They play in doubt.
Then wait you for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke.
Covering the people, this is a painful torment.
(They will say): “Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!”
How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.
Then they had turned away from him (Messenger Muhammad) and said: “One (Muhammad) taught (by a human being), a madman!”
Verily, We shall remove the torment for a while. Verily! You will revert.
On the Day when We shall seize you with the greatest grasp. Verily, We will exact retribution.
To be continued InShaaAllaah
